RESOURCE: Alzheimer’s Website by Ashley Clarke

Our own Care America employee, Ashley Clarke, has created a website to inform others about Alzheimer’s disease. She is currently a Care Coordinator for Care America in Syracuse, NY working towards her to degree to become a MSW. Here is what she had to say about her informative website:

“I would like to say thank you for your very kind words and sharing my website.  Alzheimer’s Disease hits very close to home for me and it is a real passion of mine.  It is a monstrous disease that steals not only the individual’s own autonomy of self, but robs the family members of the loved one they use to know.  After working with Care America and seeing firsthand how dedicated everyone is to the individuals we work with, it has really affected me in a positive a way. Observing how staff (HCSS, RN’S, SC, PBIS, CIC, Schedulers, etc) interact with the clients and their family members has provided me comfort in knowing that there are people who truly care, and make it their mission to provide the utmost respect and dedication to each home they work in.  It is very true that CareGivers America really does care!  Thank you again to everyone for all the hard work you do.  You all truly make a difference in the lives of the people and family you work with.”
