Government Funded Services
CareGivers America is a provider for a number of Home and Community Based Services that are paid for by the government. These programs are often referred to as “Waiver” programs, meaning that the federal government “waives” the Medical Assistance rules for institutional care in order for the state to provide supports and services in the community. The qualifications to participate in each of the Waivers varies with your income level, primary and secondary diagnoses, and need assessments.

CareGivers America is an Agency With Choice provider for the ODP Waivers in Lackawanna, Susquehanna, Luzerne, and Wyoming Counties.
